Mel
Rubi paints with great and immense talent and an extremely wonderful
attitude. This make him one of the most sought after artists in
the field of aliens. His great art is evident on great works such
as Star Wars: The Bounty Hunters - Scoundrel's Wages, The Terminator:
The Dark Years, Predator: Xenogenesis and most notably Aliens vs.
Predator.
At
twenty-nine-years-old, Mel Rubi didn't become an overnight success.
He, like many other artists, struggled in his early days. He entered
the comic book business in 1993. He worked on Morbius: The Living
Vampire for Marvel Comics and Shadow Man for Valiant Comics.
After working briefly
on the X-men for Marvel Comics, Mel Rubi secured a permanent position
down at Dark Horse in 1998. This is what he called home.
Since then, Mel Rube
has been creating some of the most sought after drawing in alien
fantasy art. today Mel Rubi still expresses himself though his art
at Dark Horse Comics.
