The Best Fairy Movie
 When
Hollywood asked, "What if Peter Pan grew up?" but the
answer is that then he would probably star in a magical fairy tale.
Robin Williams is Peter Banning a busy executive who spends more
time on his cellular phone than with his children, until he is launched
back into combat with his childhood adversary Captain Hook.
Maggie Smith is the old
grandmother who is able to suggest the most wonderful possibility
when she whispers, "Peter Dear, don't you know who you are?"
Peter does not remember anything that happened before he was 12,
but Captain Hook does and kidnaps Peter's two children to lure Peter
back to Never Neverland for a yet another match.
After
the children disappear and Peter finds
Hook's kidnap note and is told by Granny
Wendy who he really is and why he must
follow. The Never Neverland scenes are
absolutely breath taking. There are the
right amount of characters, strange post
signs, excellent costumes, and a sense
of serenity around the place.
Captain Hook, played
by Dustin Hoffman gives an Academy performance, and Tinker Bell,
played by Julia Roberts is an absolute pleasure to watch. She plays
the greatest screen fairy ever. It is fun to watch her fly around
the screen like a pretty, little butterfly.
