The Best Robot & Cyborg Movies

There have been many movies made about robots and cyborgs. One movie can't be classified as the best because there are really two movies to talk about, The Terminator and Terminator 2 Judgement Day.

We start with The Terminator. This is the beginning of a two part series that has left moviegoers cheering for a third. The movie is about a battle in the future that is being fought in the present. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the T-1000, a metallic robotic machine enclosed in living human tissue. Kyle Reese is the man sent back in time with the Terminator to protect Sarah Connor. The Terminator's mission: to kill Sarah Connor. She is the mother of the rebellion force leader in the future. This child is not yet born so belief does not come easy for Sarah.

The Terminator systematically eliminates all people with the name Sarah Connor. All but one. By the end of the movie, this young waitress fights not only for her life but for all of humanity as well.

Terminator 2 Judgement Day continues a decade after the original movie. This time there are two of them. One sent to kill, the other to protect. The new Terminator is sent to kill Connor again, but this time it is John, Sarah Connor's son. This Terminator is far more superior to the original cyborg from the first as the T-1000 protector series learns.

Strength, love and honor make this movie one of the most memorable robot movies ever.
