The Best Wizard Movie

Excalibur The SwordExcalibur offical mivie posterExcalibur is a movie about a sword that led King Arthur to be king of the land. It is about King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and features Merlin the magician and his magic. It also features the evil sorceress Morgana who is seeking revenge. There is plenty of wizardry in this movie.

The land is divided without a King. A legend rises of a Sorcerer, Merlin and the coming of a King and of the sword of power. Excalibur was known as the sword of power.

It starts out in the Dark Ages when everyone was fighting for supremacy over the land. Merlin gets Excalibur from for Uther to become King and finally settle a truce in the land. As they were celebrating Uther has Duke's wife. Merlin wants the offspring in exchange for his services. He takes the boy Arthur to be raised by someone else.

Uther's lust destroys him but he cast Excalibur into the stone for whoever shall pull out the sword out shall become king.

As time goes on, no one can pull the sword out. Arthur now a young man, accidentally he pulls Excalibur out of the stone. This sets him up to be King

With the help of Merlin, Arthur comes to battle. He has the chance to kill one of the Knights but spares him his life in exchange for loyalty.

Arthur falls in love with Leondegrance's daughter Guenevere. Their offspring, an evil being is created by his half sister Morgana who has learned the art of sorcery thought Merlin. He is to take over the land.
