Mythology
(mith-oh-low-gee) Traditional or legendary stories
usually involving gods or heroes in natural phenomenon. Every
custom has its own mythology. Greek, Jewish, Roman, all carry
their myths orally. This is a normal way to express mythology.
Anthropologists and religious followers perceive mythology in
different ways. These groups take great measures to make sure
that there is truth behind myths.
Mythology
has been around since the dawn of time. It is said that mythologies
are true stories, although there are some non believers amongst
us. Non believers are usually fearful of myths, therefore claiming
that they are not real. The say it is all fiction.
Myths
are generally stories that tell the origins or beginnings of some
supernatural force, animal or human. They reside in all things
in this universe. There are myths about the sea and the land,
as there are also myths about they sky and space. Myths are involved
in all that is. From the ancient times to the vast future, myths
will always exist.
Almost
all mythology is based on the early days of life. A time when
the Earth was ruled by dinosaurs. Prehistoric man from that era
drew pictures on the cave walls that look like, even back in those
days... mythology.
