Beasts X-Files

Mary Lamar, sister of beast hunter Francesco Lamar, sent in this story. These accounts were never proven to be true.

Francesco Lamar was a big fan of Sasquach and beasts for many years. Frank, as he was known to his friends claimed when he was a young boy camping with his family, he saw Sasquach, more popularly known as, Big Foot. As he grew older, Big Foot jokes became a regular part of his life. He was teased constantly about his so-called sighting. Frank vowed to one day capture Sasquach and forever put an end to the comments he so hated.

A few months into Frank's twenty first birthday, he set out to capture Big Foot. He and his trusted friend Mark Tucker (the only person to believe Frank) set up camp in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado were they were determined to find the beast that tormented his life. Three days later, Frank claimed they found what they were looking for.

The beast they saw stood at least ten feet tall and must have weighed five or six hundred pounds. They came face to face with it as they strolled thought the forest. The beast, as big as he was, growled as loud as a T-Rex, turned 180 degrees and ran like a wolf. Frank and Mark, both in a state of shock, with rope and shotguns in hand, chased after the mammoth beast. Unfortunately they lost the beast.

Patiently they waited for his returned. Hours turned to days, and days turned to months. Mark soon lost the belief in what he saw and turned his back on the operation. With the help Mark, Frank's parents and family came to the place where Frank camped. They tried to talk him into coming home. Frank refused. The Lamar's were disturbed by their son's obsession.

For the next three Years, Frank's family brought food and clothing to Frank in an attempt to help him. Frank died on February 20, 1988 from hypothermia. Evidence shows that he was struck in the head, and was knocked unconscious.

Could Frank's death be linked to Sasquach?
