Fairies X-Files

Nushka Kit was a normal seven-year-old little girl. She lived with her grandmother Eva in Russia. Both her parents had died a year earlier. Nushka loved her grandmother very much. One morning, Nushka danced into her grandmother's bedroom. She jumped on the bed and started poking her to wake up. Eva did not wake. She died in her sleep.

Devastated, Nushka was sent to a foster home. She was living there for three months when she had a terrible dream. Francine, the foster parent that was looking after her was caught in a fire. Nushka woke up in a cold sweat and immediately ran to Francine. She was please to find her propped up in front of the television. She told her foster parent about her dream. Francine assured her that everything was ok and whisked her back off to bed.

Two days later, Nushka was helping Francine with dinner when she had another vision. This time she was not sleeping. In her minds eye she saw Francine once again burning. This time she was able to hear the screams. She smelled the smoke and burning flesh. She saw the whole thing as if it was happing in front of her. Suddenly she was back in the kitchen and all was normal. Francine thought that the shock of losing her parents and grandmother one year apart was staring to settle in. But Nushka warned that Francine that she was in danger.

That night as Nushka lay in bed, she felt a presence in the room. Somehow she did not fear it. As she turned to look behind her, she saw Eva, her deceased grandmother. The spirit was partially transparent. Nushka was happy to see her beautiful grandmother. Oh how she missed her. Eva spoke, "You are in great danger Nushka. Francine will fall asleep with a cigarette in her hand tonight. The house will burn down and take all who dwell in it. You must get out now." Suddenly the vision was gone.

Smoke filled Nushka's nostrils. Her lungs felt like they were going to burst. In a panic she broke the bedroom window and hurled herself out the window onto the floor outside her bedroom. Fire trucks were at the scene in minutes. Testing proved that a burning cigarette in the foyer set off the fire.

Now 37, Nushka says her grandmother is her fairy godmother and is with her in spirit. She claims to help the police department from time to time to track down criminals though her fairy godmother. The department denies it.
