Knights & Warriors X-Files

New York Times
March 2, 1997

The Big Apple was once again witness to a strange and deadly event. A man was seen riding through the busy Manhattan streets on a horse. The man appeared to be wearing an armoured suit complete with the helmet and chest piece. By his side a sword. His horse was clad in the same medieval armory his master had on.

The man was stopped by New York City police and was asked to get off his horse. The man refused stating he was on a mission to kill Sir John III. The police believing the man may pose a threat was told to get off his horse or he would be placed under arrest. The Knight once again refused. This time police took excessive force.

The angered knight screamed out in rage and removed his sword from his side. With the sword in hand, he swung it at one of the police officers. It did not miss its mark. The sword went right though the neck of the officer, decapitating him and killing him instantly. Back up was immediately called in and the man was soon taken down and placed under arrest.

Sources say that the armour worn by the man was not of this time and that some of the metals in the sword have not been seen in five hundred years.
